4th Annual Creative Review Allows Participants To Receive Feedback From Top Las Vegas Creative Directors, Designers

AIGA Las Vegas will be presenting their 4th annual Creative Review for Students on May 11 at the InNEVation Center, an event that's not only for students, but also for recent graduates and professionals in transition. At the Creative Review, participants will be receiving valuable feedback from some of the top Las Vegas Valley Creative Directors, Art Directors, Studio Managers, Marketing Directors, and Lead Designers.

Event participants will enjoy multiple one-on-one conversations with professionals in various disciplines. Creative work in print and digital form will be reviewed, and attendees will receive feedback. Two blocks have been scheduled for event participants and reviewers, the first block from 10-12am and the second block from 12-2:00pm.

Participants can reserve their spot through Eventbrite. There is no cost to attend and creatives are asked to bring two or more work samples, an entire portfolio, or anything you would like to discuss.

“The Creative Review for Students will meet in an awesome space within The Innevation Center,” Amanda Farrar, Education Director of AIGA commented,

“ if you haven’t been you must go! Graphic design students of all levels of study, having already RSVP’d online, will arrive, check in, and pick up a name badge. For a two-hour time block they’ll meet face to face, one at a time with various graphic design industry leaders, including art directors and creative directors. Every 15 minutes a bell will signal that it’s time for the students to move to the next station for their next meeting.  Student attendees should bring a few digital or print work samples for feedback; a complete portfolio and business cards are welcome as well. Past years’ attendees reported receiving helpful tips on work samples, on presentation, and on breaking into the industry. Students say they benefited immensely from the opportunity to introduce themselves and present their work. Most said they were at first nervous to attend their first time, but upon arrival and getting started the guest reviewers were very helpful and it was fun.”
