Each February, filmmakers and film fans travel from all over the world and descend upon Boulder City, Nevada and celebrate the art of short film at the 15th Annual Dam Short Film Festival. This year the festival will present over 100 short films in all styles and genres. The film festival is scheduled for February 7-10 at the Boulder Theatre.
Renowned American film director, producer, artist, writer and animator Tim Burton will stage an exhibition of his original fine art at the Neon Museum in Las Vegas in 2019. Tim Burton @ the Neon Museum will be staged at multiple locations: the Museum's outdoor Boneyard exhibition space, in its North Gallery and at the City of Las Vegas' Boneyard Park across from the Museum's Visitors' Center.
From Dec. 1–29, Cirque du Soleil will host its 13th annual art exhibition, "PARADE The Collective," at Core Contemporary Gallery. The annual exhibition is a specially curated collection of art designed to showcase the unique creativity and talent of the entertainment group’s performers, technicians and staff, and will be open to the public Wednesday through Saturday, from 11 a.m.–4 p.m.
